Greetings!
I am Bill Michels, the leader of this year's Southern Week-Long Tour. Bill Herrington, the Assistant Tour Coordinator, and I are very much looking forward to this year's trip.
We have created this tour-specific page in an effort to gather and share tour information in one place, and to communicate last-minute details. So please bookmark this page on your Web browser and visit often!
Our ski tour will take us over the hills and valleys of Section 15 to 9. We'll ski mostly on backcountry trails through city, State and National forests between Ripton and Weston, VT. We will also be skiing on short sections of the VAST Trail System and two well established Cross Country Ski Centers, Mountain Top and Blueberry Hill. For a brief overview of the sections we will be skiing, click on the Southern WLT link in addition to the more thorough, extensive maps and trail section descriptions on the CTA website.
The public forum section below will address a variety of tour specific information such as: social events, accommodations, daily meeting times, locations and section leader names. Some information in these sections may not be available yet, but projected dates will be noted. We also look forward to participant use of this section for questions, daily feedback/pictures, etc.

Lodging: A list of lodging options along the MDT route will be made available, and all participants will be responsible for arranging their own lodging and meals.
