Tropical Storm Irene moved the Money Brook Bridge.  As a result, the southern half of Section 11 will only be skiable out & back to Money Brook from either Ninevah or Roundtop/Old Plymouth Road.  Once the brook freezes over we plan to identify a crossing either just upstream or a ways downstream of the former bridge location.

Section 11: Ninevah Four Corners to Tin Shanty

Snapshot:

This is a mostly wilderness section running over Round Top and Burnt Mountains through hardwood forest. There are many excellent views.

Length: 11.5 miles

Difficulty:

This is a challenging section with several short, difficult stretches, which are steep and narrow. Take climbing skins, particularly for the ascent (and possibly the descent) of Burnt Mountain and Round Top.
