CTA Winter Tours and Events

CTA’s guided ski tours are a great way to discover new sections of the Catamount Trail and make new ski friends.  Please visit our tabs to the left for more information about our Multi-Day Tours, Single Day Tours and Special Events, or scroll down this page.

Calendar and Tour Schedule

The CTA Calendar offers dates, descriptions and contact information for each Multi-Day Tour and Single Day Tour offered throughout the year, as well as links to each of our Special Events.  Check the calendar OFTEN for new and rescheduled tours. Last minute tours arise when snow conditions are good. Details about last minute tours and changes can also be found on the Trail Talk page.

For the more adventuresome our very popular Multi-Day Tours (MDTs) provide an opportunity to ski many sections of the CT in one winter (MDT Tours for CTA members only, join here today!).

For our Multi-Day Tours, We offer two Weeklong Tours (WLTs) and two Three-Day Tours (3DTs). You could even become an End-to-Ender, an exclusive group that is growing every year. You may sign-up for as many days of a MDT as you wish, even one. We ask a contribution to the CTA to hold a spot on MDTs. Please visit our MDT webpage or our calendar for tour dates and descriptions.

To sign up for a MDT or Special Events, please see the MDT or Special Events section of our website. All CTA Tour Leaders are volunteers.

Our Single-Day Tours (SDT) are FREE and open to non-members.  Please visit our online Calendar or SDT webpage for all SDT dates and descriptions.

To sign-up for a Single Day Tour contact the Tour Leader at least a few days in advance. Don’t wait until the night before! The Leader will provide information on the meeting place and time and other details.
