We skied from Kelley Stand Road, across Stratton Pond to Little Pond and back Sunday, about 17 miles, good training for the Dam Long Tour. Looks like we were the first to ski to Little Pond this winter, but the rest of the trail has seen substantial use. Five inches of fluff on a crunchy base, with a few spots of open water.
We did the "School Bus Loop" back from Stratton Pond but I think it needs a lot more base to get over the hobble bush, etc. Thanks Andrew, Sara and crews!
