Slightly off trail and topic, woods skiing near Sec 3 report

The hills above Somerset Reservoir have over 2 ft of base, not solid enough to walk on but great for skiing. About 4" of new snow on top, surprising little wind blown in the woods. Note this is not on the trail, mostly where we were there were no trails, just wanted you to know that there was some snow somewhere in Vermont. Probably good resort skiing at Prospect Mtn.
