There's plenty of snow (18" +/-) most of the water crossings are a cinch, and there's not a rock to be found because the base is so solid. I skied both north and south of Old Plymouth Road. The steepest parts of Burnt Mountain were tricky for me, what with the multi-layered crust, but there were fun turns to be had on the low angled descents. Fantastic backcountry touring conditions and quick going where the trail's been broken. North of John Stearns' view it hasn't been broken yet.
