Corn stubble to corn snow were the conditions for the WLT of sections 24-31. As usual the skiers and the leaders (especially Jan) were what made it work, but the mid-week dump didn't hurt at all. We had as many as 24 skiers on the trail at times, and hardly lost any of them. We had a little celebration at the Canadian border, forgot to sing O Canada (sorry Lynn). I don't think anyone was completing the whole trail this trip, but many were working on parts of it.
Some stream crossings were tricky, the descents on both sides of Jay Pass were a blast or a chore, plenty of cover up high, getting thin already down low.

I've received a couple of photos of skiers snarfing Peeps. That goes a long way towards dissolving my disappointment in the missed Canada-fest.
