Skied from Harriman Dam south to Readsboro and return, Sunday, January 22. There was about 5 inches of powder on top of a nice crusty base. The trail was in fantastic shape: no blowdowns, no brush, not one wet spot, and a number of small log bridges over the tiny streams. Basically.....perfect! Thank you Sam B and crew! Saw only one set of snowshoe tracks on the southern 2/3, and one set of moose tracks. Nice views of the Deerfield River. Yet another fabulous day on the Catamount Trail!
