Wednesday 3/19 four of us skied from East Hill/Eden Mt Road to Collins Pond, part of Sec 26 that Marie missed on the WLT due to rain. I dropped the others off at East Hill, and drove around to Collins Pond to ski N to meet them. They found some tricky stream crossings S of the new spur to to East Hill Road. To find this new, improved spur, leave East Hill Rd (parking here is uncertain, it is a plow turn around) right at the town line, ski along the 'large field' of Sec 27 to find the CT a few hundred yards from the road. This adds about three miles to Sec 26 but takes a 1.6 mile spur off. Both the snowmobile and the back-country sections had complete cover, the snow that night would have only improved things.
