Hi there, I would like to know if it is right to plan a trip around march 15? Will there still be snow? I would like to plan a 10 days trip.

I also would like to know if there are huts (with stove) available or the accomodations on this site are the only option. I am looking for something a little cheaper.

Thanks a lot
Pierre

No huts with woodstoves. Sorry. Most winters there would be enough snow. This winter, who knows.

You could stay at the cabin at Grout Pond, and there is a shelter at Stratton Pond about 5 miles up the trail, but then you are on your own.
Snow in March is anyone's guess, it is likely to be open and wet in the south.
