It seems like every time we go from Bolton to Trapps we gaze with longing at the start of the Cotton Brook trails. Can anyone tell me where you come out? Can you leave a car in Little River SP?
Thanks!

If you drop down Cotton Brook after the initial steep drop the trail flattens out and follows the brook until it crosses a Forest Service type road that connects on the left to the Waterbury Reservoir access off the Moscow Road in Stowe. This is a snowmobile trail in winter and one can follow it southerly toward Little River State Park but its tricky in that the snowmobile trail climbs and goes through a notch before dropping down to the top of the Woodward Mountain Road, and eventually the main snowmobile parking lot on Little River road. Its nicer to ski down to the State Park but it helps alot if you are familiar with the trail system at LRSP.
Another option is to connect into Cotton Brook trail from the Heavenly Highway, Stowe View, Paradise Pass, area at Bolton by dropping down on Paradise and then climbing up Cotton Brook. It is a steep climb back up and skins help alot. Very tough in fact without them.
